Below is a summary of the NetWorks software changes.

WARNING: Before the upgrade, please make note of your wireless network security key and all the customizations you assigned to your radio, such as station presets, alarm settings, and time/date settings. If you encounter any incorrect information on your radio after the software upgrade, you should perform a factory reset, which will reset most of these customized settings back to the factory defaults. Note “Favourites” and “My Added Stations” are not deleted after a factory reset.

Software version 2RC3-15 and 2RC3-15p:
• Improved the responsiveness of remote control in standby.
• Improved “Classic”, “Pop”, and “News” in the Tivoli EQ.
• Changed 2 preset Internet stations.
Software version 2RC3-12 and 2RC3-12p:
• Reduced power consumption in standby mode
• Eliminated stray noise during WiFi connection
Software version 2RC3-10 and 2RC3-10p:
• Remedied an issue with the User EQ setting
Software version 2RC3-9 and 2RC3-9p:
• Added support for the new BBC streaming format
• Improved German language translations
• Improved FM distortion
Software version 2RC3-7p (DAB+ only):
• Improved the display of DAB+ scrolling text information
Software version 2RC3-6:
• Added ability xto play iTunes Plus files in Music Player mode
Software version 2RC3-4:
• Ability to play un-protected AAC files in Music Player mode (Shared Media, Shared Folders, USB)
• Ability to change the display backlight setting (On/Off) when the radio is in stand-by
• Ability to set/change the alarm when the radio is in stand-by
• Alarm volume and system volume operation now more consistent
• Changed the position of “Save” in the alarm menu
• Added alarm schedule options (daily, once, weekdays, weekend)
• Alarm now stops automatically after 60 minutes if no action is taken
• Added auto-update of time and date (from Internet, DAB, and FM)
• The menu selection “IR Set-Up” is changed to “Internet Set-Up”
• Changed position of “Software upgrade” in “IR Set-up” menu
• Remedied display character issues
• Corrected the German language source text from “FAM” to “FM”
• DAB Info categories have changed
• Podcast Info categories have changed
• Added confirmation message upon changing sources
• Controls for exiting the alarm with un-saved changes are now consistent
• WiFi and Ethernet are now switched off in modes that do not require them to be active
• Improved the accuracy of FM auto-seek (strong/all stations)
• Remedied an issue with the clock for USA/Canada
• Eliminated noise which could be heard sporadically upon switching to FM mode
• When the NetWorks radio is on, the Tivoli Audio text at the top of the screen will alternate every 5 minutes with “tivoliportal.com”
WARNING: During a future upgrade, units with software version 2RC3-3 that are set to German language will show the text “Achtung! vom Netz trennen” (Warning! Remove power). This is incorrect. Please DO NOT remove power during any upgrade.
Software version 1RC7-4:
• Added message to advise users to check tivoliportal.com prior to performing a software upgrade
• Changed German translation from “Warning! Remove power” (Achtung! vom Netz trennen) to “Warning! Do not remove power” (Achtung! Nicht vom Netz trennen), during an upgrade
WARNING: When upgrading from software version 1RC7-3 to 2RC3-4, units set to German language will show the text “Achtung! vom Netz trennen” (Warning! Remove power). This is incorrect. Please DO NOT remove power during any upgrade.
