Our tests conclude there is no way to improve the issue with a software fix, as the problem directly relates the available bandwidth along the way between the originating station and your home network. We will suggest the station to use WMA which is the direction followed by many broadcasters, such as the BBC.
We believe this issue relates to the technology itself not the NetWorks unit; we have experienced the same using other Internet radio devices, in China. On our side the only possible fix could be to add more memory to the Networks unit, although this is a hardware modification. This is also not guaranteed to solve the problem, and it might introduce collateral damages such as an increased loading time, which we want to avoid because it will compromise the user experience for any Internet station. Though this issue is not exclusive to the NetWorks, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we remain committed to further research.
